Samarinda – Pergantian Antarwaktu (PAW) Fraksi PKS berlangsung dalam Rapat Paripurna DPRD Kota Samarinda Masa Persidangan III Tahun 2023, Rabu 13 September 2023 di DPRD Samarinda.
Paripurna DPRD Kota Samarinda tersebut beragendakan pemberhentian dan peresmian pengangkatan Pengganti Antar Waktu (PAW) Anggota DPRD Kota Samarinda sisa masa jabatan 2019–2024 dari Abdul Rofik kepada Abdul Rohim dari Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS).
Wakil Ketua l DPRD Samarinda, Helmi Abdullah memimpin paripurna tersebut didampingi Wakil Ketua II DPRD Samarinda, Rusdi, dan Wakil Ketua III DPRD Samarinda, Subandi. Turut pula hadir Wakil Wali Kota Samarinda Rusmadi Wongso.
Helmi turut mengucapkan selamat atas PAW Abdul Rohim. Ia berharap dengan PAW tersebut Abdul Rohim dapat bekerja dengan baik dalam menjalankan tugas.
Sementara itu, Ketua Fraksi PKS DPRD Samarinda Sani Bin Husain mengatakan dengan PAW itu merupakan salah satu penegakan peraturan yang mana ketika anggota DPRD Samarinda berpindah partai, sehingga harus diberhentikan.
Bagi pria yang sering disapa Sani itu menyebutkan bahwasanya perbedaan itu merupakan hal yang biasa. Namun yang terpenting ialah tetap berkiprah kepada masyarakat.
“Lumrah saja. Setiap hari saja berkumpul dengan orang-orang yang berbeda partai. Jadi hal yang biasa. Saya berharap dimana pun posisinya berada berkiprahlah untuk rakyat. Lebih utama rakyat daripada kepentingan kelompok dan golongan,” ungkapnya kepada awak media.
Sani berharap dengan jabatan baru Abdul Rohim dengan waktu yang sempit dapat memberikan manfaat dan berbuat berbagai hal yang sebanyak-banyak kepada masyarakat.
“Saya sudah siap katembat untuk pak Rohim. Artinya supaya sering-sering bersihkan telinga dari omongan orang,” tandasnya.
