Penajam – Dalam sebuah inspeksi terkait pembangunan Bandara VVIP IKN di Penajam, Kalimantan Timur, yang akan dihadiri oleh Presiden Joko Widodo, Pj Gubernur Kaltim Akmal Malik telah memastikan bahwa persiapan di lapangan berjalan lancar. Ia menyatakan kepuasannya atas kesiapan lapangan dalam kunjungannya pada Rabu (18/10/2023).
“Persiapan di lapangan sudah sangat bagus,” ujar Pj Gubernur Akmal Malik di lokasi peninjauan.
Sejauh ini, sudah disediakan lahan seluas 291 hektare untuk proyek tersebut, dan ada rencana penambahan lahan sep inibesar 50 hektare sesuai permintaan Kementerian Perhubungan, yang saat ini sedang dalam proses. Akmal Malik mengungkapkan bahwa proses negosiasi dengan pemilik lahan dan proses verifikasi berjalan dengan baik.
“Secara umum semua berjalan dengan baik. Proses negosiasi dengan teman-teman pemilik lahan, proses verifikasi juga berjalan dengan baik,” ungkap Akmal Malik yang hadir bersama Pangdam VI Mulawarman Mayjen TNI Tri Budi Utomo, Danrem 091/ASN Brigjen TNI Yudhi Prasetiyo,Pj Bupati PPU Makmur Marbun dan Forkopimda Kabupaten PPU.
Pj Gubernur Kaltim juga melibatkan beberapa tokoh penting dalam kunjungannya, termasuk Pangdam VI Mulawarman Mayjen TNI Tri Budi Utomo, Danrem 091/ASN Brigjen TNI Yudhi Prasetiyo, Pj Bupati PPU Makmur Marbun, dan Forkopimda Kabupaten PPU.
Selain melihat persiapan pembangunan bandara, Akmal Malik juga menyempatkan diri untuk meninjau Jembatan Pulau Balang, yang merupakan penghubung vital antara Penajam, PPU, dan Balikpapan. Jembatan ini diharapkan menjadi ikon baru koridor trans Kalimantan serta rute utama menuju IKN dari wilayah selatan Kalimantan Timur. Pemerintah Provinsi Kalimantan Timur sepenuhnya mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur pendukung di sekitar wilayah IKN.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Akmal Malik menekankan komitmennya sebagai wakil presiden di lapangan untuk mendukung proyek ini, memastikan kelancaran setiap tahapan pekerjaan, dan mengantisipasi potensi permasalahan yang mungkin muncul dalam pelaksanaan proyek ini.
“Kami tentunya sebagai staf Bapak Presiden di lapangan, mendukung setiap langkah-langkah teman-teman kontraktor pelaksana bahwa setiap pekerjaan yang dilakukan berjalan dengan baik. Untuk itu kami turun dilapangan ini. Kita cek sekaligus mengantisipasi setiap potensi-potensi permasalahan yang terjadi,” pungkas Akmal Malik.
