Jakarta – Terpantau dua bibit Siklon Tropis sedang berkembang di utara Indonesia. Bibit 96W dan 97W, yang merupakan potensi siklon tropis, terdeteksi berada di wilayah Samudra Pasifik Pada Rabu (17/5/2023).
Bibit 96W terletak di dekat Palau atau di utara Manokwari. Menurut layanan satelit Zoom.earth, sistem ini memiliki peluang rendah untuk terbentuk dalam 24 jam ke depan.
96W dengan kecepatan angin 30 km per jam dan tekanan permukaan laut 1010 hPa (hektopaskal). Sementara bibit 97W terletak di Samudra Pasifik bagian barat, berada di utara timur laut Jayapura.
Sistem dengan kecepatan angin 30 km per jam ini memiliki peluang rendah untuk terbentuk dalam 24 jam ke depan. Belum dikeluarkan peringatan untuk bibit siklon tropis 96W dan 97W.
Fenomena tersebut berdampak langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap cuaca di Indonesia mulai dari angin kencang hingga potensi hujan sedang sampai lebat.
Adapun prakiraan di antaranya terjadi hujan sedang hingga sangat lebat. Wilayah terdampaknya antara lain di Nusa Tenggara Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Maluku, dan Papua. Selain itu angin kencang berpotensi terjadi di Nusa Tenggara Timur, Maluku, dan Papua.
Gelombang laut tinggi 1,25 meter sampai 2,5 meter diprakirakan terjadi di Perairan selatan Ambon, Laut Seram, Perairan Fakfak dan Kaimana, Perairan Kepulauan Kai hingga Kepulauan Aru, Perairan Kepulauan Selayar, perairan Kepulauan Baubau, perairan Kepulauan Wakatobi, Laut Flores, perairan Kupang hingga Pulau Rotte, perairan Pulau Sawu, Laut Sawu, Selat Ombai, Samudera Hindia sebelah selatan Nusa Tenggara Timur, serta Laut Arafuru bagian tengah dan timur.
Gelombang laut setinggi 2,5 meter hingga 4 meter berpotensi terjadi di Laut Banda, perairan Kepulauan Semata – Kepulauan Letti – Kepulauan Babar – Kepulauan Tanimbar, dan Laut Arafuru bagian barat.
