Samarinda – Sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas kelulusan peserta Uji Kompetensi Wartawan (UKW) di bawah binaan Media Sukri Indonesia (MSI) Group, Mohammad Sukri selalu CEO menggelar syukuran dengan melalui acara potong tumpeng.
Potong tumpeng merupakan tradisi khas Indonesia yang melibatkan pemotongan nasi tumpeng, yaitu nasi kuning berbentuk kerucut yang dikelilingi oleh berbagai lauk-pauk. Tradisi ini biasanya dilakukan dalam acara syukuran atau perayaan untuk menunjukkan rasa syukur dan doa atas berkah yang telah diterima.
Dalam konteks acara ini, potong tumpeng menjadi simbol rasa syukur atas kelulusan sembilan peserta UKW di bawah binaan MSI Group. Diantaranya, Mohammad Sukri dan Emmy Harianti pada jenjang Madya. Kemudian, Adi Rizki, Laras, Aditya, Ira, Siti Aminah, Intan, Ratu Arifanza pada jenjang Muda.
Hal tersebut merupakan langkah nyata keperdulian MSI Group membina wartawannya. Tidak hanya sekadar meningkatkan kapasitas, namun memastikan pemenuhan sertifikasi sebagai bentuk profesionalisme di bidang jurnalistik.
CEO MSI Group dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa kelulusan ini adalah hasil dari kerja keras dan dedikasi para peserta.
“Keberhasilan ini adalah hasil kerja keras dan dedikasi teman-teman semua. Namun, saya ingin mengingatkan agar kita tidak terpaut bangga. Mengasah kemampuan dan terus belajar itu yang paling penting, bukan sekadar mendapatkan lisensi,” ucapnya di Kantor Sukri Institute, Ruko C-24 Jalan Untung Suropati, Senin (29/7/2024).
Sukri yang juga merupakan Ketua Jaringan Media Siber Indonesia (JMSI) Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) mengungkapkan bahwa masih ada tiga wartawan dari MSI Group yang belum mengikuti UKW.
“Harapan saya, seluruh wartawan MSI Group harus sudah mendapatkan sertifikat UKW. Setelah memegang sertifikat ini, diharapkan semuanya bisa meng-upgrade pengalaman, ilmu, analisis, dan kritis mereka,” tambahnya.
Sukri yang juga wartawan kawakan ini juga juga mengutip pepatah lama, “Tuntutlah ilmu sampai ke negeri Cina,” yang berarti bahwa ilmu sangat penting dan harus dikejar dimanapun itu.
“Kita harus selalu belajar dan meningkatkan kemampuan kita. Maka dari itu, kita melaksanakan syukuran ini sebagai bentuk rasa senang dan bangga atas pencapaian kita bersama,” pesannya.
Selain syukuran, MSI Group juga berkomitmen memberikan reward kepada para wartawan yang berprestasi dan loyal sebagai bentuk perhatian terhadap kesejahteraan.
“Komitmen kami adalah terus mendukung dan memberikan penghargaan kepada mereka yang berprestasi. Harapannya, kita semua bisa lebih maju dan berkontribusi positif dalam dunia jurnalistik,” pungkas Sukri.
